Camron Li
2022 66 kg Canpl National Champion
“I’ve put on some good muscle by tracking macros. Lifestyle-wise, I’ve been feeling more energized and motivated.”
Cam started with maintaining 67.8 on just 2100 calories, struggling with appetite and adherence. It wasn’t about a rapid bulk or a drastic cut—it was about steady progress. We worked to overcome low appetite by making small, consistent calorie increases, and used his natural macro preferences to guide us. When boredom hit, we introduced flavor diversity, and when overwhelm crept in, we returned to simple staples.
In a little over a year, Cam grew to maintain his weight while eating 3000-3200 calories, eventually competing and winning the 66kg class at the Canadian National Championships in 2022.
Alicia Cheung
47 kg Canpl Powerlifter
“I was able to develop a healthy relationship with food and nutrition, maintain a competitive bodyweight for my weight class, and build healthy habits around nutrition.”
During our time together, she walked roughly 48-49 kg while eating as high as 1850 calories. Tracking calories and macronutrients was new to her, but it became habitual without negatively impacting her relationship with food. She struggled with eating regularly with her work and training schedule, so we created an achievable eating schedule with mini food goals. She quickly knew the outcomes but didn’t understand the contributing factors and patterns. So, we discussed the possibilities, and she grew confident in her ability to adapt.
Kwaku Antwi
93 KG CANPL TEAM CANADA
“I have way less panic than previously (regarding making weight), I have a much more objective than subjective view to gaining or losing weight.”
When Kwaku reached out, he wanted to grow out of the all-or-nothing mindset and become comfortable with eating while improving his performance in the 93 kg weight class. His POV of nutrition was rigid and limited to losing weight for a competition. I remember our onboarding call when he said, “If I don’t see progress in 3 weeks, f*** it”. Yet it’s been 105 weeks (and counting!) and he’s cruising.
If we take the bird’s eye view for a second, Kwaku was eating 2500 calories (inconsistently) to maintain 100-101 kg. Fast forward to 2 years later, and he’s eating the same amount of food (lower fat intake) consistently to maintain 94-95 kg.

It’s time to stop watching other athletes succeed.
Be one of them.
You’re not new to this…
You’re showing up and you’re pushing yourself. But your performance still sucks.
You want to eat in a way that supports your training AND life.
You want clarity and a strategy that doesn’t fall apart after a long day or one bad lift.
You want to feel like yourself again — like the athlete who used to enjoy this process.
Instead, you’re stuck in the same cycle:
Dial it in → Burn out → Say “screw it” → Repeat.
You’re a walking billboard for the all-or-nothing mindset.
You don’t need more motivation.
You need structure, support, and straight-up honest feedback from someone who gets it — and knows how to coach through it (hi, that’s me!).
Well, you’re in the right place
Meet nutrition coaching made for you.
Coaching
Think about if strategy and structure got married – that’s exactly what you’re getting here. And this is exactly what most competitive powerlifters prefer because regular troubleshooting and discussions help increase their chance of success.
Consultations & Follow-Ups
You’ve got the structure, hands-down. You can stay accountable to a program, troubleshoot the small stuff along the way, and you don’t need to be checked in on. And the only thing you’re missing is that evidence-based strategy and direction.
What kind of athlete do you want to become in the next 6 months?

“I was able to make weight for Centrals and improve my relationship with food. I can track meals better now. I believe I make healthier and more informed choices with what I’ve learned… It’s a blessing to have someone teach and guide you in the right direction.”
Jose A.
74.0 kg | OPA/CPU
“My body composition has improved significantly through different phases of nutrition. She also helped me during my adductor injury/recovery. I’m currently prepping for UF Open, and my lifts feel stronger than pre-injury. I’m still shook at how I can cut weight at ~2900 calories.”
Jimmy Y.
66.0 kg | OPA/CPU
“Working with Maria allowed me to recover during my training, discover ways to continue incorporating foods I love & perform at my best. In times of adversity, Maria was there to guide me through protocols… She’s a professional who can cater to all your nutritional needs.”
Kwaku A.
93.0 kg | APU/CPU
“Maria has helped me lose roughly a total of 10 kg. of body weight while getting stronger. While doing so, Maria has made making weight for competition seamless, and improved my overall relationship with food.”
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
You’ve got questions? I have answers!
If you can’t find your question below, head to the Contact page.
Not at the moment. I have had athletes with health insurance that cover a wide range of health and fitness fees (i.e. health care spending account). In that case, you can attempt to claim it manually by sending your insurance provider a copy of the invoice (always available to you in the client portal).
Do you offer guaranteed results or a refund policy?
To be completely transparent, I cannot guarantee results because it is completely up to you to listen and implement the strategies discussed. Coaching is a collaborative approach to moving forward productively. I also do not offer refunds because work does begin (and doesn’t stop) as soon as athletes are onboarded.
Do you offer discounted coaching services?
Sometimes, I will run promotions throughout the year, although it has primarily been the Nutrition Consultations only. As for Lite / Pro Coaching, there’s already a discount when an athlete signs a 6- or 12-month commitment.
Do you only work with powerlifters?
I used to primarily work with powerlifters, but overtime, I have opened up my rosters to other athletes because I’ve realized that you don’t need to be a powerlifter to have the same level of discipline, commitment and drive to improve your nutrition. In the past, I have worked with marathon runners, hybrid athletes and athletes in combat sports and crossfit.
I only need calorie and macro targets. Can you help?
You’re not looking for a coach. You’re looking for a calculator. This a friendly reminder that nutrition runs deeper than calories and macros. The successful athletes you’ve seen on the platform are doing more than reaching their nutrient targets.
When can I expect to see or feel results?
I cannot provide an accurate timeline for anyone (even my current athletes included). But I will say that results take time and patience. It’s a process more than it is the outcome.
What makes you different from other coaches?
I won’t speak for other coaches; however, you’ll find that many TEM athletes will tell you that TEM provides flexibility in nutrition programs while instilling a commitment to the big goals. TEM considers factors that profoundly affect nutrition, such as mindset and attitude. TEM is the next level to your regular macro-coach.
Can I switch coaching tiers / services later?
Note that Pro athletes can switch to Lite only after 4 consecutive months. This ensures that the athlete is developed significant skills to be more independent. The same requirement applies to the Base tier.
